On September 17, 2009 heavenly BENTO hits post theater at the Japan Society NYC. Japanese media artist Hiroko Tanahashi and director Max Schumache come together to create a captivating experience that covers the five senses with dance, text and real food.BENTO is a theatrical based on the epic and amazing journey of the founders of Sony Corporation, Akio Morita and Masaru Ibuka, and their dream of forming an internationally successful consumer electronics company, heavenly BENTO is a performance full of images in the round, raised stage that also functions as a projection surface. An exploration of friendship, ambition and the boundless human imagination, heavenly BENTO is a dazzling display of human and technological expression.
