Disney has announced August 14, 2009 as the official US release date of Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea. Directed by Hayao Miyazaki, director of films Howl’s Moving Castle, Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, Ponyo tells the story of a goldfish who’s dream is to become human who befriends little boy name Sosuke.
